Meet The Coaches

Head Coach
Fernando Pizarro
Fernando moved to GA from NY after graduating from the University of Albany with a degree in Business Finance, to pursue his passion of coaching and directing competitive gymnastics. Fernando's love for gymnastics started at 8 years old and it has been a part of his life ever since. Fernando has coached at all levels, Developmental, Xcel, Compulsory and Optionals. He has also coached collegiate and elite gymnasts and holds multiple State, Regional and National titles as a coach and an athlete. Fernando focuses on developing the individual athlete, building confidence and maintaining a positive environment.

Team Coach
Nidra Bailey
Nidra is a wife, mother of 3, Realtor, and Spelman College graduate. As a seasoned coach and a former competitive gymnast; Nidra understands the commitment, challenges, and joys of Gymnastics. Nidra has coached in Georgia for over 10 years, with experience coaching cheer, recreational gymnastics, competitive levels USAG 3-7, and Xcel Silver through Diamond. Nidra is a passionate, enthusiastic coach with goals of developing strong basics and good habits in confident, and positive gymnasts. Nidra hopes to inspire growth, instill a love for gymnastics, and build successful teams of hard working individuals.

Team Coach
Jennifer Sneed
Jenn is a former competitive gymnast that has coached gymnastics for 20 years. In 2016, Jenn received a bachelors degree in finance from Georgia State University. She has participated in numerous camps and clinics around the country. She was awarded 'coach of the day' by Mary Lee Tracy at the W300 Women's Junior Olympic Course at the National Training Center in Texas. Throughout her coaching career, Jenn has coached Xcel and levels 2-10. She has coached nationally ranked gymnasts, nationally ranked teams, and collegiate gymnasts. Jenn specializes in helping gymnasts overcome fear, creating unique games and contests to motivate athletes, and producing gymnasts with great form and technique.

Team Coach
Nathalie Silva Sosa
Nathalie is a Cobb Challengers alumnus, having spent over 10 years in our program, and is excited to bring her passion for gymnastics back home. Over the last three years, she has coached developmental teams, compulsory levels 1-5, and Excel Bronze, Silver, and Gold teams. Nathalie is driven by the success of her gymnasts, always focusing on strong technique, and helping her teams continuously develop their skill sets. She gets the most satisfaction from coaching when her athletes master a new skill or achieve a personal goal they have set for themselves. Nathalie is a proud mama of two fur babies and a baby girl, born in 2022.

Team Coach
Andrea Wright
Andrea is currently a student at Kennesaw State University, studying Elementary Education. She has been a gymnast for 13 years and was a cheerleader for 5 years. Andrea works as a teacher’s assistant for all grade levels and has coached for team/recreational classes. She is passionate about coaching gymnastics and loves helping kids develop as gymnasts and virtuous members of society.
Andrea focuses on perfecting basics and high repetition, in order to help gymnasts reach their individual goals safely and with excellent form. She enjoys creating a safe and positive environment, where gymnasts can succeed and continue to grow their love for the sport, just as she did throughout her career.

Team Coach
Amber Stone
Amber fell in love with gymnastics at the age of 5 when she joined a local recreational center program. She became an accomplished competitive gymnast, dancer and cheerleader through years of training.
Amber has been coaching for the past 15 years starting with early developmental and moving into developmental, compulsory USAG 1-5, Xcel Bronze - Diamond, competitive dance and high school gymnastics teams.

Amber's enthusiastic coaching focuses on continual growth by consistently developing basic skills, form and technique while encouraging a positive, confident and creative attitude.

Amber is an Atlanta native and spends her personal time with her husband and her dog (McKenna), who was actually named by one of her level 3 teams.
